This wonderful collection was once named one of the top destinations in Pennsylvania by Travel Magazine. Next, it is on to one of our state's premier resorts, CROSS CREEK RESORT, for a delicious plated luncheon. A ride the OC&T RAILROAD will take you “through the valley that changed the world” with a full narration given by the train volunteers to educate visitors on how the oil boom came and went almost overnight. The very first successful commercial oil well was drilled in this valley in 1859 by Colonel Edwin Drake, not in Texas, not in the Middle East but right here in Titusville, PA. After the train ride, a stop at the DRAKE WELL MUSEUM is where you will see the very site where the well was drilled over 150 years ago and experience an in depth display of oil related exhibits. The next stop is TYRED WHEELS MUSEUM a collection of over 25 antique cars, antique toys, model cars, an airplane and even a 1912 bus.
